Over the past 20 years, the publishing house of the National University of Theatre and Film „I. L. Caragiale“ has published various books written by Romanian and foreign authors of great interest to university research, humanistic knowledge, and artistic studies in general, particularly theater and film studies. The journals and books of UNATC Press, published in Romanian and English, have contributed to a better understanding of Romanian cinema and theater during a period of internationalization of Romanian culture (The New Romanian Cinema, applied theater, etc.). Our continuous editorial process encourages open dialogue among academics, researchers, editors, students, professional artists, and readers, disseminating relevant research results in specific fields. The publishing house aims to publish works notable for their innovative ideas about performing arts and moving images, literary prestige, theoretical rigor, and high academic standards.
